Both the stars defeated on-screen couples from different decades like Dharmendra and Hema Malini, Raj Kapoor and Nargis, Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha in a poll conducted by UK's renowned Indian movie portal.

As per the sources, fans of both the stars voted them most romantic Bollywood couple for their sizzling chemistry in 1995 released Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. Aaprt from DDLJ, the two stars appeared together in Baazigar, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and My Name is Khan.
